Advanced Television reported that Turkish operator Turksat selected the ARRIS E6000™ Converged Edge Router to prepare for future IP interactivity and future-proof its eventual service expansion.
The New York Post reported that Nielson’s second-quarter Total Audience Report had good news for Internet-only subscription services as the number of broadband-only homes rose from 2.15 million to 3.28 million.
According to Rapid TV News, the 2015 US Residential Television Service Provider Satisfaction Study published by JD Power showed that the overall satisfaction with pay-TV service providers increased considerably since last year.
Broadband TV News highlighted a study by Goldmedia showing that more than half of Germans watch television programs and videos on second-screen devices such as smartphones or tablets in parallel to the programs they are following on their TV.
Lastly, IP&TV News reported that total subscription and VOD revenues for 68 pay-TV operators in Asia will go from US$ 10 billion in 2014 to US$ 33 billion by 2020, citing research from The Asia Pacific Pay TV Operator Forecast report.
